Using the strategic move of Wikipedia, this case examines the three strategy propositions for the online encyclopedia industry and how key factors from one proposition can support and reinforce the other two propositions.

The case, which comes with an interactive, fun flash game to be played in class, lays out how Braynesbridge Industries, a fictional conglomerate in the steel industry, recently launched a new strategy to break out of the red ocean of bloody competition in the industry and the organizational challenges it had to overcome.

Tipping Point Simulation
Leading the City of Los Rios into a Blue Ocean is a challenging hands-on case and class-based simulation exercise, which drives participants to execute a strategic shift fast and at low cost using the key concept of tipping point leadership. Situated in the fictitious city of Los Rios in Central America, the newly elected mayor has just announced a new strategy for Los Rios that would bring new life to the city and let it stand apart again. The students are challenged to make this happen in the simulation.
Self-Diagnostic Development Tool: Tipping Point Leadership and Fair Process in Action Workbook. This 30-minute diagnostic leads a participant to reflect on the organizational and management risks that exist in his/her organization as they set out to execute a blue ocean strategy.
